Examples of the Society's past  achievements are:
Best Kept Village
Wales in Bloom.
Removal of overhead telephone and electricity cables and having them re-routed underground.
Building a village pond, generating wildlife.
Restoring the Church car park.
Reclaiming the Memorial Garden.
Installing tubs and troughs throughout the village.
Replaced the cemetery gates.
Installed village entrance name plates.

None of this would be possible without our members' enthusiasm, pride and application.  We are most grateful also, to the following organisations:

The Prince's Trust - Cymru
Denbighshire Countryside Commission
Flintshire Local Voluntary Council
Flintshire Countryside Services
New Horizons
The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers
and contributions from individuals.
Flintshire and Denbighshire County Councils.
The Llanasa Conservation Society  (formed in the 1970's and formally known as 'the Ratepayers Association'), is not modelled along the lines of traditional conservation groups.  Though wildlife and the environment is high on our list, the main priority remains that of maintaining and managing the condition of the village as we see it today.  We aim to please most of the residents most of the time!
We adopt a liberal and very informal atmosphere without the administrative and bureaucratic burdens that often accompany affiliations like this.  We are not a charity but we have a constitution. Members are free to come and go as they please.
